Kevan Li

Kevan is a PhD student in the School of Engineering and the Battery Storage and Grid Integration Program at the Australian National University. He holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the National University of Singapore. His prior work has focused on techno-economic-policy analysis of hydrogen and hydrogen-based steel developments. His current research interests lie in applying the mathematical optimisation model to various hydrogen planning and emission challenges, including modelling of hydrogen energy systems and policy design for certification schemes for grid-connected hydrogen and its derivatives. His future research will focus on the effective interaction between hydrogen production and the grid to ensure the reliability of hydrogen supply and low emissions. He also plans to study the potential for Australian hydrogen exports.
