A PhD student at the University of Adelaide, Mit Piyush Bakhai focuses on particle-laden flows. He previously earned a degree in mechanical-aeronautical engineering, with a research emphasis on the aerodynamics of winglets and the influence of cant angle. His current PhD research is dedicated to industrial decarbonisation, aiming to better understand the behaviours and flow patterns of particle-laden flows through advanced numerical modeling. By improving the interpretation of dispersed flows in industrial reactors and jets, he seeks to enhance sustainability and efficiency in industrial processes, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable future.
