His responsibilities extended to coordinating accreditation processes with Engineers Australia, conducting program reviews, and organising the development of courses with a specific focus on sustainability, including a Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage course. Alireza's commitment to education is further demonstrated through his supervision of PhD, master by research, and honors projects over the past decade. His expertise lies in conducting multi-disciplinary research, with research focuses including hydrogen storage, carbon capture and storage in deep geological formations, techno-economic assessment, and asset decommissioning and repurposing.
