Daniel Ang

Daniel is a PhD student in the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials at the University of Adelaide and a recent MPhil graduate in mechanical engineering. He is passionate about his research in integrating renewable power into heavy industrial processes. He previously has research and practical experience in reactor design and optimisation on both lab and industrial scales. His research focuses on understanding the adaptation of hydrogen fuel into a conventional gas suspension calciner by investigating the effects of (i) fuel blending, (ii) burner design, (iii) oxygen enrichment and (iv) air/steam rich calcination environment.
