New grant program: Powering the Regions Fund and tips for successful proposals

The Powering the Regions Fund (PRF) Critical Inputs to Clean Energy Industries – Cement, Lime, Alumina and Aluminium Sectors (CICEI – CLAAS) Guidelines have recently been released. The CICEI-CLAAS is open to organisations that own, operate or can partner with Safeguard Mechanism facilities in the cement, lime, alumina or aluminium sectors to support emissions reduction and ongoing domestic production. In the first part of this webinar Clement will explain what the program is, where to find out more information, and provide details on their upcoming online information session on 10 October 2023.

CIS will then share their insights into how to successfully secure grant funding with specific advice on the Powering the Regions Fund (PRF). CIS are the dominant service provider to organisations looking to secure grant funding. They have raised over $4b in grant funding over the past 10 years when partner contributions are included.
