Decarbonisation of Australian steel production – where is it heading?

HILT CRC invites you to our upcoming webinar, presented by Professor Geoff Brooks, Swinburne University of Technology.

There is a world shift towards decarbonisation of steel production, particularly in the EU where a number of major producers have committed to installing new equipment before 2030. In Australia, steel producers are under some pressure to advance this shift before 2040.

In this presentation, the major options available to current Australian steel producers will be discussed and compared. Technical challenges and broad technoeconomics will also be considered.
