DESCRIPTION:Australian Industry Energy Transitions Initiative Report – pathways to industrial decarbonisation: Positioning Australian industry to prosper in a net zero global economy\n  \nJoin us for our upcoming webinar\, presented by Kylie Turner (Program Impact Manager) and Rob Kelly (System Lead – Industry) from Climateworks Centre. \nThe Australian Industry Energy Transitions Initiative (ETI) recently released report ‘Pathways to industrial decarbonisation: Positioning Australian industry to prosper in a net zero global economy’ is the outcome of three years of extensive research\, analysis\, debate and consultation with industry representing over 30% of the ASX100. \nThe report sets out decarbonisation pathways across five key supply chains; iron and steel; aluminium; LNG; other metals (including copper\, nickel\, lithium); and chemicals\, such as fertilisers and explosives. It outlines how heavy industry can transition to net zero emissions while limiting warming to 1.5°C and calls on this moment of opportunity to align and focus efforts to create a globally competitive\, equitable\, net zero industrial economy in Australia. \nThis webinar provides an excellent opportunity for researchers and industry to hear directly from Kylie and Rob who will discuss the report findings\, followed by a short Q&A session. \nImage has been reproduced with approval from Climateworks Centre.
