Kyra Reznikov

Kyra Reznikov is the head of Environment and Planning at Finlaysons Lawyers in Adelaide. She has degrees in Chemical Engineering (First Class Honours) and Law (with Honours) from the University of Adelaide. For nearly 20 years, Kyra has been providing legal advice to companies in the mining, oil and gas, energy, manufacturing, wine, agribusiness, property development, financial, retail, educational and consulting sectors on environmental and regulatory compliance, project approvals, carbon emissions reporting and pricing, sustainability governance, land access and commercial contracting. She brings to HILT CRC decades of experience in risk management and governance, together with hands-on knowledge of the legal, regulatory and commercial challenges facing not only heavy industry as it seeks to decarbonise, but also the developers of renewable energy generation and low carbon technology projects who are leading Australia’s energy transition. Kyra is a member of the Minerals and Energy Advisory Council, which provides advice to the South Australian Minister for Energy and Mining. She is a member of the South Australian Aquaculture Tenure Allocation Board, chairs Women in Resources South Australia, and sits on several advisory and industry committees that focus on clean energy project development and sustainable wine production.
